Newborn Bliss 

We're coming up on sweet Charlie Carters first Birthday and I find my self reminiscing on these early days with her often. I realized that I never gave these beautiful memories a place in this space that I ultimately use as an online scrapbook. Something to look back on forever more.

These moments feel like a lifetime ago. There has been so much physical, mental, and emotional change and development not only in Charlie, but within all of us, within our roles, our goals, and ultimately within the world … 2020 am I right?

These photos were taken when CC was exactly one week new, within that glorious yet exhausting newborn bubble. Life was figuring out being a family of four, It was new and chaotic with an overall sense of contentment. I know I was exhausted, I remember the physical post partum discomforts and emotions from us all, but that week or so with a fresh baby at home is my absolute favorite. There's love and excitement, naps and coffee, and an overall slower pace where we give ourselves grace (mostly).

Her dark hair and squishy cheeks have evolved and the love we have for her has only grown.
