Growing Baby {SISTER!}

Looking back on these photos is surreal. They feel like a lifetime ago, I guess in a way they kind of were. Before we knew that inside that beautiful bump was our little GIRL. Prior to meeting her earthside we referred to her  as baby.

Growing you was an honour. In our 40 weeks together as one we weathered great trials and tribulations. And together we endured. I am forever grateful for you. And you my love are SO loved.

Josh is the real MVP who gifted me a Wild Shay maternity photo session for my birthday. He knows how important documenting these phases of our life are to me. At 37 weeks this shoot was one of the final things on my never ending to do list before I could even think about baby making an entrance into the world. The morning of this session brought snow, a magical addition to a photography session. However I think we all underestimated the wind and the subsequent heightened chilliness it brought. For the record Benen really really despises wind— in any situation.

For anyone local to the Campbell River area, Wild Shay Photography was incredible, as per usual and we truly had the best morning together—highly recommend!
